One of the best pubs in the area. Staff are always friendly and beer is decent. My only issue with the place is that it can sometimes be quite hard to get to the bar when people sit there, as the area is quite small. Look forward to returning.

Really lovely pub and great Butty Bach. Chips okay (some not quite cooked). Staff reasonably friendly. Sadly we felt unwelcome because of the exclusion zone operated by some locals around the bar (they wouldn’t even make room for people to order drinks). It also always rankles when bar staff don’t ask who’s next and simply go for the local who came in after us. It’s a shame as we were eying up a house in the area. Parking quite difficult as the road was busier than we expected but it wasn’t this that has put us off the pub, and the area. A bit disappointed.

Great little pub that’s located in a great spot. If you are walking or cycling Bredon hill, then it’s really nice to have a rest here at the end of the exercise. Staff are nice and it’s quiet in general which makes it relaxing.

Very cosy, comfy and welcoming pub! Great ale at a very reasonable price. Open fire and big screens showing sports. Traditional pub. Lovely!

I didn't stay at the pub, but me and my colleagues had a great lunch. The food was delicious, and the portions were great. Highly recommended for a stop off.

The Blue Room was a front facing room towards the main road, also above outside seating which was noisy as thevweather was lovely for couple of days and customers sat outside having meals and drinks. The noise from the customers and main road was disturbing if you wanted an early night. The TV was plugged into an extension lead, which, with a bit of thought, could have been wired into a couple of double sockets below the TV so that guests could have more electric sockets for personal use instead of leaving their Phone / iPad etc plugged in on the floor next to the bed. The food menu was not very good, I would refer to it as Bar Meals. The bed was very comfy and we slept well once the noise outside had subsided. We found the Crown was well placed for our needs.

The back road from Bredon to Beckford is a short but pleasurable journey, with a pub in most villages along the way The Crown appeared to be a well supported local asset, with friendly and efficient staff, the landlady on my visit requested the immediate help of a ‘local’ drinker in the bar to serve me whilst she continued dealing with an existing food order, always a good sign of a community Pub Wye Valley Brewery HPA and Butty Bach represented the bulk of beer being consumed on the premises, whilst Proper Job and Hop Father featured as guest beers Seating on the pavement outside appeared popular, although next to a road, the low traffic volume did not distract or concern customers Genuine British Pub with genuine people, and no shortage of potential customers within walking distance

Rural, vintage, original traditional village pub. Fantastic atmosphere, great service, decent food, sensible priced. Completely different vibes than chain pubs. Highly recommended 👍 ✌️
